Le château en ruines, conséquences possibles d'un tremblement de terre ou des revendications belliqueuses des révolutionnaires contre les possédant. Cette photo date sans doute de la deuxième partie du XIX ème siècle avant les premières restaurations. Seules subsistaient les deux tours et peut-être la cave sous le monticule de terre. On aperçoit bien les accès aux deux niveaux de la tour carrée; ces niveaux furent modifiés afin de créer un étage supplémentaire. La tour ronde quant à elle apparaît sans son châpeau pointu dont elle a hérité lors de la deuxième restauration du début XXème. Le baron assis sur une chaise en costume haut de forme envisage sans doute déjà avec ses employés les modifications qu'il va apporter à la bâtisse.

At the beginning.

The ruins of the castle are possibly due either to an earthquake or to some violent exhibition from the low-class against their Lord. This picture is probably from the second part of the XIXth century, prior to first campaign of renovation. Only the two towers remain and maybe the cellar under the ground. Wen can clearly see the accesses to the levels of the square tower, those levels were changed in order to create an additional level. The round tower is seen without its conic roof that it inherited during the second renovation (early XXth). The baron, sitting on a chair with a top hat and a suit, is probaly investigating with its crew the changes he will bring to the building.
